2019 was a special year for us. We celebrated our tenth anniversary by having a special meal in a marvellous setting: the HIKA winery in Amasa-Villabona (Gipuzkoa), less than half an hour from San Sebastian.
Surrounded by vineyards and the mountains that stand guard over the Oria river valley, chef Roberto Ruiz (previously at the Frontón de Tolosa) explained the peculiarities of the orography and the process of making txakoli (traditional local wine). We enjoyed a txakoli tasting accompanied by food based on local produce.
The evolution of Wetak in 10 years is evident in terms of products and solutions and all this is thanks to the people and the ongoing good working environment. It was a lovely day to celebrate and enjoy with colleagues in a different environment.
